Easy-to-Customize Lighting Creates Eye-Popping Bathrooms
Bathrooms are one of the most often overlooked spaces when it comes to creative and thoughtful design. After all, there’s only so much you can do in one of the smallest spaces in the house, right?
Steff from St. Augustine, Florida, would beg to disagree. While working alongside MJ Construction on two new home builds in Flagler Beach, Steff and her husband created some of the most colorful, inviting bathrooms we’ve ever seen!
“I have used Barn Light Electric lights in our remodels and new home projects for many years,” Steff says. “They are American made, unique, and very cool!”
This bathroom vanity gets a splash of color from The Original™ Warehouse Gooseneck Light. These 12″ fixtures are handspun from commercial-grade aluminum, finished in beautiful Teal, and mounted on G16 gooseneck arms. Steff took the extra step of color matching the door to match the lights.
In this space, Steff found the perfect artwork to complement the vivid Watermelon finish of our Wilcox Deep Bowl Gooseneck Light. This vanity light features a 10″ shade and G26 gooseneck arm. Steff also dipped into our Home Goods collection for a few essentials. The 24″ Industrial Towel Bar and the Industrial Toilet Paper Holder boast the matching Watermelon finish.
Another 10″ Wilcox Deep Bowl Gooseneck Light, this one in a Sunflower finish, brings a dose of sunshine into this small powder room. A matching Industrial Towel Bar and Industrial Toilet Paper Holder are also included in this space.
With these two homes being just off the Atlantic Ocean on Florida’s east coast, Steff opted to incorporate some subtle nautical touches in this bathroom. The Double Market Industrial Guard Sconce features a Navy finish, warehouse shade, cast guard, and clear glass. The brown rope edging on the mirror adds yet another layer of texture, color, and visual interest.
This powder room boasts a truly one-of-a-kind fixture in the Pollock No. 6 Pendant Light. This shade is handspun from commercial-grade steel then coated with multiple layers of porcelain enamel in our signature Jadite finish color. Our artisans then drip white porcelain enamel over the shade to create a unique pattern. Steff chose a matching Jadite towel bar and toilet paper holder to complete the look.
This bathroom boasts a neutral palette with the dark tile floor and hardware, white cabinets, and grey countertop. The lively pop of Lavender in The Original™ Warehouse Gooseneck Lights adds the perfect eye-popping style. Steff again color-matched the paint for the door to create a cohesive look in the space.
“I love the color choices and the huge variety of designs from Barn Light Electric,” Steff says. “Your products allow me to give homes some personality and make them pretty instead of what would otherwise be boring and plain spaces.”
