Garage Mahal: Ultimate Home Gym

June 2010 - Daytime soap stars Scott Bailey and his fiance Adrienne Frantz are tired of the local workout centers and want to make their garage into the ultimate home gym. With help from Bill Goldberg and the Garage Mahal team, Scott and Adrienne get a workout building their new gym, complete with a secret entrance, vaulted ceilings, and space-saving gym equipment.

Scott and Adrienne's garage was not very big to start with, so once the much anticipated new equipment was added, the design team was left to the walls. Medicine balls and free weights line the sides, along with a personal water cooler and their very own rock climbing wall. New vaulated ceilings help the room feel larger, but require most lighting down below.

Barn Light Electric was excited to provide sleek wall sconces to tie into the young couple's state of the art space. Similar to chrome, the Danielle Shield ADA Sconce was selected a polished nickel finish - its shiny, reflective finish bounces additional light around the room. The 16" wide sconce is also larger than most, and has the ability to provide a large span of light from both the top and the bottom.
