Barn Light Electric Launches Unique Collection of Rustic LED Guard & Glass Fixtures

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (June 2, 2014) — Barn Light Electric continues to break new ground as an American manufacturer and designer of vintage and barn style lighting with the launch of their newest collection of rustic fixtures – the LED Guard & Glass Collection.

The Florida-based manufacturer announced the launch today of their newest collection of lighting which includes ceiling pendants, wall sconces, gooseneck lights, and chandeliers that utilize a cast guard-and-glass design combined with the very latest in compact LED technology.

“The LED light is one of today’s most energy-efficient and rapidly-developing lighting technologies,” says Josh Aurigemma, Barn Light Electric’s LED Lighting Developer. “Quality LEDs last longer, are more durable, and offer comparable or better light quality than other types of lighting.”

The new collection has roots in industrial and nautical style fixtures that feature a rugged cast guard surrounding a jelly jar glass. The LED light source, which is integrated into the fixture and tucks snugly inside the jelly jar, is guaranteed to offer 50,000 hours of service.

While some consumers simply purchase LED bulbs to use in their lighting fixtures, Aurigemma notes that the integration of the light source into the fixture provides superior service.
