CopySometimes the best way to create a classic look is to simplify what you already have. In this case, the Austin Sconce is closely based on the familiar Ashland Warehouse Shade with a more conventional, compact wall mount. The smaller shade diameter allows for mounting in tight spaces such as over a front door or along interior walls. This allows industrial wall sconces to be installed in almost any location. For even more versatility, add a plug-in cord—a solution to lighting in apartments or elsewhere needing nonpermanent installation.
Hand-built in the United States, this wall sconce lighting can be customized to your specifications. Choose from two shade sizes and dozens of finish colors to make this lighting fixture your own. Also consider adding a wire guard to give your wall sconce a vintage twist.

Cord & Plug Option
Includes 8 feet of cord, 2-prong polarized plug and inline on/off switch. A black plug and switch comes standard with all cord options except our Standard White Cord (SWH) and White Cloth Cord (CSW), which will include a white plug and switch.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

My black Austin Wall Sconce is the perfect addition to my front porch. It provides ample light at night, looks modern and is easy to clean!
I purchased this sconce along with a pendant for a small barn that my husband and I built for my mother. The galvanized look was perfect. I will admit is was pricier than I wanted to pay, but the look was spot on. My husband installed with no issues and it looks wonderful. We used an Edison bulb and it looks amazing. I wish I could post a picture.
We just hung this light in navy blue above the mirror in our children's bathroom and it is perfect! It adds a nice pop of color to the room and looks classic yet fresh. We were a bit worried about switching from an old fixture with 4 bulbs to this single bulb fixture, but because it can take up to a 200W bulb, it provided plenty of light for the room.
I ordered two of them for our bedroom. I just love then. I bought the cages for them also, they really remind me of the ones that were in barns.
