Affixed to any one of our traditional gooseneck arms, The Original™ offers the perfect dimensions and aesthetic for any space. The Original™ is constructed the old-fashioned way: completely by hand, using commercial-grade materials. Customization options for this gooseneck light include multiple finish options — powder coat, copper or brass, and our signature high-gloss porcelain — and rugged guards.

Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.

Porcelain Enamel
Porcelain enamel, our signature finish, is celebrated for its protective properties and unique, high-gloss surface. Every porcelain shade is fired in a special oven. To relieve the pressure that builds up in these high temperatures, one or more vent holes are included in the shade's design. The hole(s) are later sealed with silicon to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion that could damage the shade.
All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, some minor blemishes may occur due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.

Lead Times & Returns
Lead Time: Standard lead time is 7-14 business days. For products in our Quick Ship Collection, standard lead time is 5-7 business days. Products utilizing natural metals including brass and copper may take up to 20-30 business days to manufacture.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

Wow! Just ordered four of these in the textured black. They are really well made and worth the money. I did not want "shiny" black lights. The textured black was perfect. I bought the 16 inch for a 8 ft wide garage doors on a single floor house and they are a good size. I think anything bigger would look too big.
The light is fantastic; the web site is confusing and misleading. You think you are ordering a product at a particular price, but after negotiating the product ordering page, the price is over a hundred dollars more. Nothing on the page explains the ordering process or the additional costs. That takes away from product.

We purchased the original gooseneck light with dusk to dawn photocell to go above the backdoor to our mudroom of a new home in Texas. The light is excellent quality and we are happy with purchased from them. There are other companies out there but would not trust where they are made. The light is sturdy and should last with being galvanized in color. I had a few questions before ordering and emailed customer service who returned a prompt answer to my question. Shipped in the time as promised, arrived in perfect condition.
