Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.

Porcelain Enamel
Porcelain enamel, our signature finish, is celebrated for its protective properties and unique, high-gloss surface. Every porcelain shade is fired in a special oven. To relieve the pressure that builds up in these high temperatures, one or more vent holes are included in the shade's design. The hole(s) are later sealed with silicon to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion that could damage the shade.
All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, some minor blemishes may occur due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.

Lead Times & Returns
Lead Time: Standard lead time is 7-14 business days. For products in our Quick Ship Collection, standard lead time is 5-7 business days. Products utilizing natural metals including brass and copper may take up to 20-30 business days to manufacture.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

I was initially nervous about purchasing a light for my back patio because there was a "no return policy" advertised on the barn light series I was considering purchasing. Also, these lights are steeper in price over other brands I considered and I was super worried about biting the cost if I did not like it once it arrived. I decided to pull the trigger and order the light because I kept coming back to the same light, over all the others. I was very glad I did! The quality was superior.
My light has been installed now for about 8 months. There have been no issues. It looks great. My only regret is not ordering two more of the exact same lights for over my garage...I hope to find something similar as i have decided to stick with this company's product.

My light has been installed now for about 8 months. There have been no issues. It looks great. My only regret is not ordering two more of the exact same lights for over my garage...I hope to find something similar as i have decided to stick with this company's product.

The electrician just finished installing the last of the10 Bomber Gooseneck lights the other day and they are a beautiful addition to our home.
The quality of the material and workmanship of the fixtures is incredible.
These fixtures are well designed and the electrician was amazed by how well built they are as well as how easy they were to install.
The people ay Barn Light Electric are well trained and have patience and a sense of humor as evidenced by having to deal with a novice, like me, who asked a thousand questions.
They guided me through the various stages and selections of the components of the fixture and made sure I understood how they interrelated into the final product.
Definitely not a quick sales job for them.
The follow up concerning the manufacturing and shipping status by e-mail from Barn Light Electric was outstanding and very reassuring.

I purchased a light for the end of my dock near the Atlantic ocean that gets lots of weather. The quality of the material and finish looks to be very good. The light looks great and was easy to install.
I absolutely love this fixture! It is perfect over my backyard shed in my 1920's bungalow home. Customer service was spectacular as well.
Just hung the light this weekend. Looks great. Very nice quality. Exactly what we expected. Ditto Eric P on the install. Mounting hardware was not sufficient for wall thickness. Installed over garage into beam. We had to improvise. You may want to investigate this issue.

So far so good. I just got it up a few weeks ago but It looks fabulous and works great. The workmanship seems very good and of high quality. I live only a few hundred feet from the pacific ocean so good build quality and materials where important in my decision to purchase this product. My only complaint would be that the mounting hardware didn't work for my wall thickness and had to purchase additional parts but it was no big deal.
