Copper & Brass
For oil-rubbed copper, weathered copper and brass finishes, slight variations may occur from shade to shade.
Copper and brass fixtures have a longer lead time and may take up to 4 weeks to manufacture. There are no returns accepted on these metals.
Copper is a "living" metal that, without regular cleaning, will undergo a natural weathering process. Much like the formation of rust on iron, a patina develops on copper which actually protects the metal. If you prefer the new-penny look of copper, you can keep it shiny with regular care with a gentle cleaning agent such as Bar Keeper's Friend.

Porcelain Enamel
Porcelain enamel, our signature finish, is celebrated for its protective properties and unique, high-gloss surface. Every porcelain shade is fired in a special oven. To relieve the pressure that builds up in these high temperatures, a vent hole is included in the shade's design. This hole is later sealed with silicon to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion that could damage the shade. All fixtures undergo a strict quality control evaluation to ensure they meet our high standards; however, due to our hands-on construction and manufacturing processes, some minor blemishes may occur. These blemishes do not affect the functionality of the fixture.
Lead Times & Returns
Lead Time: Standard lead time is 7-14 business days. For products in our Quick Ship Collection, standard lead time is 5-7 business days. Products utilizing natural metals including brass and copper may take up to 20-30 business days to manufacture.

Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

We couldn't be more pleased with our beautiful light from Barn Light Electric. The color, style and quality are all exceptional; it is the centerpiece of our new attic bath! We were originally sent the wrong finish, we asked for nickel and received brass, but when I brought the error to the attention of customer service they helped right away. We absolutely love this pendant light! We installed it above our peninsula in our kitchen that we remodeled. Our home was a farmhouse built in the 1800's and the look is perfect! Loads of compliments, not to mention the quality of the light is exceptional!
The Sinclair Pendant was the finishing touch to our recent kitchen remodel. Our home was built in 1917. So, we wanted a light that would be a nod to the past but still work in a new kitchen. I bought all of my quilt studio lights from Barnlight Electric and I love them but this Ivanhoe pendant is the most beautiful of them all. We LOVE our Barnlight Ivanhoe pendants. We ordered two ten inch pendants to hang over the newly opened up counter space in our "farm-like" white kitchen. (There had been a bank of cupboards there and soffets throughout before the remodel. The larger, 16 inch pendant hangs in our entryway. The matching pendants contribute to a nice flow and the rustic look we were going for. We use Edison bulbs in all of the lights with the kitchen pendants on a dimmer. All cast beautiful light into the spaces. We are so glad we found your website. Working with your company was seamless and your product is of very high quality. We would highly recommend these lights to others.
These pendants are stunning. They added the perfect finish to newly renovated kitchen. The color & style beautifully accent the room. And, the red/white chevron cords, tie the whole thing together. Love these lights.
