Finish Care & Maintenance
No metal fixture, no matter the finish, is guaranteed against corrosion especially in salt air environments. If your fixture is installed in a location near salt water, we recommend cleaning it frequently.
If your fixture is not installed in a location near salt water, we recommend periodic cleaning with a mild soap-and-water wash and gentle buffing to extend the life of our painted finishes.

I bought this for a dark stairway. I opted for the integrated LED after watching the very informative presentation on this site (thanks). I started out with the ribbed glass, but quickly realized that it was too bright. Yikes! After a call to BLE and a chat with a very polite and informed young man, I decided to go with the frosted glass. This was the perfect choice! The light is beautifully constructed, made in the USA (yay), and gives wonderful light to my space. I look forward to doing more business with BLE in the future. Their customer service is excellent and their products are too. A rarity today. Keep up the good work!
