Floor Lamp Lends Function, Style to Remodeled Guest Room
When Lauren and Cody purchased a home in Texas, they had a short list of renovations to tackle. Fresh paint all around, new carpet, and new lighting throughout.

For the guest bedroom, Lauren and Cody envisioned a classic Texas theme with a modern western feel. Starting with a neutral palette, the couple added color, texture, and visual interest with a fun cowhide rug and an old photo of the Texas capitol. The couple also chose a Raw Brass stem, a standard black cord, and a black plug and switch.
“We love the brass with the black,” she adds. “We wanted to keep the brass-and-black theme to fit in with other pieces we have throughout our home.” The Sinclair Floor Lamp features a weighted base for stability, and the shade is adjustable up to 90 degrees so the light can be positioned where needed.
