Barn Pendants Highlight Busy Farmhouse Mudroom
Like so many home projects, Kasey’s new mudroom design started with inspiration from Pinterest. Kasey, who writes the blog SBK Living, and her husband, are recent transplants to Sun Valley, Idaho, where they have spent the last two years completing a gut remodel of an older home.
“It’s technically a remodel, but we demolished most everything except the foundation,” Kasey says. “We added square footage to create a ‘new’ modern farmhouse.” The Pinterest photo that caught Kasey’s eye was a clean, white mudroom paired with a farmhouse sink, black hardware, and barn pendants.
“I wanted a neutral color palette with black accents, so we selected black faucets and black fixtures throughout the house,” she explains. For the mudroom, Kasey wanted pendants that continued her farmhouse theme.
