The Theresa Restaurant, located in the heart of Munich, Germany, has combined the concept of good food, tasty brew, and bowling all served up in an urban industrial style setting. Working from a gray and white palette, the interior features dining tables crafted from reclaimed wooden flooring, linen baskets for bread, along with some modern touches like bare bulb pendants and concrete flooring. Oh, and there’s the bowling lane downstairs complete with a chalkboard wall for keeping score.

At the Hotel O in Leper, Belgium, they have taken the industrial style to new heights with a dark, moody interior highlighted by retro style lighting. The check-in desk, shown here on the left, is a simple, raw wood counter, and dark walls and dark floors throughout add to the introspective vibe of the space. Deep bowl pendants hang in both the lobby and the restaurant and offer their own kind of pensive style. And if you don’t have any decent shoes, then head for the Doc Martens store.
