The crew makes the journey once or twice a year to have a three-day photo shoot with some of our newest products. The owners and staff of Mermaid Cottages graciously allow us to use their vacation cottages as settings for the photos, and our crew always looks forward to their time on Tybee.

While we can only imagine the pandemonium taking place at the North Pole this week, we have our own brand of mayhem taking place right here on our own factory floor.
As many of our regular readers know, Barn Light Electric opened a new manufacturing facility back in October in our hometown of Titusville, Florida. We had a fabulous grand opening party attended by all sorts of city and county officials, townspeople, family and friends. The expansion of our facilities is great news not only for our town which was hit hard by the ending of the Space Shuttle program, but also for the overall resurgence of American manufacturing.

With the clip of a gigantic pair of scissors, we officially opened the Barn Light Electric Manufacturing Division in Titusville, Florida last Saturday. Well, in reality, it was the small and very sharp pair of scissors hidden behind the giant pair that did the snipping, but we had a grand time with fabulous food, a sidewalk sale, and the Barn Light Electric Super Late Model stock car in the parking lot!
