Front Door Inspiration from Barn Light Electric
It’s happened again. We’ve come down with a severe case of door envy.
It strikes almost daily over on our Pinterest and Instagram feeds where customers post photos of their doors adorned by beautiful, new lighting.
Like this gorgeous entry created by Jamie Keskin, of Jamie Keskin Design in Massachusetts. Jamie envisioned a quintessential farmhouse feel for this home, and two Union Wall Sconces capped off the look perfectly. She customized these porcelain enamel sconces with 12″ shades and a Black finish.

In last month’s post, Whitney shared some exterior lighting tips and the inspiration for her lovely curved front door accented by an Bomber Gooseneck Light. This handcrafted gooseneck features an 11″ shade, Black finish, and G15 gooseneck arm.
The configuration for Jennifer’s front door doesn’t allow room for a wall light, so she chose a Rochester Vintage industrial Stem Mount Pendant for the porch. This wet-rated pendant sports a 14” Yellow shade mounted on a six-inch stem. Jennifer rounded out the look with a Galvanized cast guard and clear glass.
Jen wanted to keep the exterior of her new farmhouse clean and simple with black lights that popped off the white board-and-batten siding. Who doesn’t love a Dutch door?! This beauty is actually Janna’s back door, but the family uses the back porch as their main entry. Designer Kelly Hurliman’s moody front porch and arched door needed a flush mount due to the low threshold, but she wanted a light that didn’t seem old fashioned. She fell in love with the idea of a barn light on her porch. The Avalon Stem Mount Light adds character and a fun pop of white against the charcoal grey. Kelly customized this exterior pendant with a 14″ shade and porcelain White finish.
