Featured Customer | Porcelain LED Fixture Brings Warm, Bright Light to Home Office

Tucked into a quiet hillside in the small town of Fairview, North Carolina, lies a beautiful contemporary home full of warm, earth tones and a cozy mountain feel. Sandie, an editor and designer, lives here with her musician husband and Whitney, a sweet, grey-faced golden retriever. Big Day for Big Warehouse Shades, Hefty Gooseneck Arms — Feel the Love!

Valentine’s Day is all about size — robust roses, brimming boxes of chocolates, big sparkly bling perhaps? Here at Barn Light Electric, it’s the perfect day to launch our big new, oversized RLM warehouse shades! We’ve taken one of our most popular shades, The Original™, and beefed it up to a whopping 24″ and 28″ wide. Available as The Original™ Warehouse Gooseneck Light, this oversized wall light reflects a wide span of downward directed light onto patios, sidewalks, awnings, commercial signage, and more. It will bring plenty of light to factories, warehouses, and other commercial buildings such as malls, restaurants, and retail stores. We were so excited about these burly new shades, we had to install them on one of our own buildings!

Think rounded, aerodynamic shapes such as the Hindenburg, Airstream trailers, and the 1934 Chrysler Airflow, the first streamlined car design.

Professional’s Corner | Porcelain Lighting, Warehouse Shades for Green-Built Home

In yesterday’s blog post we visited a brand new, green-built home in northern New York designed by a couple who were unhappy with renting but didn’t have the finances to buy an expensive, energy-efficient home built to their standards. We took a tour of Jeff and Kalie’s new kitchen where five cord-hung porcelain enamel lights take center stage over the island and countertops. Today, we venture out onto the porch where two more RLM warehouse shades add a bright touch to the front of the home.
